Things That Annoy All Chicagoans
We’ve all had this happen to us, weather you are walking to class, to work, or to get food. Some D-bag walking in front of you just abruptly stops to answer their phone, or to change direction, being totally oblivious to their surroundings.
This is pretty standard. They aren’t beggars, and they aren’t homeless, yet they are still on the street asking if you have a minute to talk about ‘ Lake Michigan ’ or whatever else they are peddling that day. Super annoying as, if you do want to help, they ask you for all of your information and then they want money on top of this.
Aggressive Beggars
We’ve all dealt with beggars in Chicago. The worst are the really aggressive ones.
‘Hey can I get a dollar?’
-Nah, sorry man.
‘Come on how about 50 cents’
If you haven’t had to deal with an aggressive homeless person, you probably aren’t from Chicago.
People Who Take Up Multiple Seats on Full CTA Cars
This is the WORST. When CTA cars are full and there’s that one douchebag that has his book bag , or his feet stretched out onto multiple seats. Yo, ASSHOLE, there’s other people on this train that need to sit down. Fuckin’ jerk.
Tourists
‘Can you tell me where the Bean is?’ ‘How do I get to the Sears Tower Sky Desk ?’ ‘Where’s the nearest bathroom?’ Look, it’s cool and all that you’re coming from out of town to visit Chicago, but stop asking every local dumb obvious questions. If you’re visiting Chicago and you can’t find the landmarks, stay home. Plain and simple.
Loud Cell Phone Users
Yup. The people who are screaming into their cell phone in public, and literally want everyone to hear their conversation.
Loud iPod Users
Just as bad as the previously stated.
Students
Chicago students are great an all, and sure they bring youth to the city. This doesn’t change the fact that they are a total annoyance to the rest of the city of Chicago . Especially the douchey demographic that infiltrates Wrigleyville and River North on a weekly basis.
Protesters
Chicago protestors are the worst. Mostly because half of the time they have no idea what they are protesting. Ha, it’s true.
